I'm a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, Functional Health Coach, author, and competitive paddle athlete who believes health is built through action—not handed to us by a healthcare system.
For more than twenty years, I worked in hospitals, trauma centers, intensive care units, and operating rooms, caring for people at some of the most critical moments of their lives. That experience taught me the value of modern medicine, but it also revealed a hard truth: many of the chronic health challenges people face today are rooted in the everyday choices made long before they become patients.
My work now focuses on helping people take ownership of their health through practical strategies that improve energy, resilience, recovery, performance, and long-term well-being.
When I'm not coaching clients or writing, you'll likely find me training on the water, competing in paddleboard races, or exploring new ways to optimize health and human performance. The same principles I teach—nutrition, movement, recovery, mindset, and accountability—are the ones I use every day in my own life.
